During my time as Assistant Producer at Theatre503, I was the Lead Producer on their Spring Short Season 2024. The focus of this season was to find companies who were established in their own right, with debut playwrights looking to stage a show. After receiving 45 submissions, my role was to programme 5 shows over three weeks.
As Lead Producer my responsibilities included: reading all submissions and leading the selection process, being the main point of contact on behalf of Theatre503, contracting all the companies, arranging site visits, technical and marketing meetings, collating information from all companies for marketing and social media, being present for get-ins and rehearsals, scheduling social media and general producing support.
'Spring Short Season 2024' took place from 22nd February to 9th March 2024.
