'Naughty' is an original one-person show by Andrew Houghton, and is the second show under the Pink Milk Theatre company. The show examined grooming and the abuse of power dynamics within the queer community, from the perspective of Andrew. 'Naughty' has previously received an OffFest Nomination for it's debut run at Ectetera Theatre during Camden Fringe 2021.
This subsequent run, was a national tour, and I was brought on as producer following their call-out for one, in January 2022. This tour was supported by Hull Truck Theatre and Qweerdog Theatre.
The show performed in London (The Hen and Chickens Theatre Bar), Manchester (The Kings Arm), Hull (Wrecking Ball Arts Centre) and Cardiff (The Other Room). My responsibilities across the production process included: applying for Arts Council funding (which was unsuccessful) and then launching a subsequent crowdfunding campaign, assisting and launching a marketing campaign as well as contacting the press, reviewers and other theatres to attend the performance and arranging production shots / recording for future use.
This run received critical acclaim, including a Standing Ovation nomination from London Pub Theatres.
