Humnah (she/her) is a queer, British South Asian, female Production Coordinator & Independent Producer. She is excited by work that celebrates life and intersectionality and focuses on telling stories that incite joy.
Most recently, Humnah was the Production Coordinator & Assistant to the Executive at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. She worked across 'Sherlock Holmes', 'A Life in Four Seasons', 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and 'CATS'.
She previously worked as a Production Assistant at Melting Pot, working across 'Paranormal Activity' and 'Ghost Stories' in the West End, as well as the 'Inspector Morse: House of Ghosts' UK Tour.
Humnah was previously Interim Producer at Theatre503 for ‘The Great Privation (How to flip ten cents into a dollar)”. She was also the in-house Assistant Producer. During her time in the role, she was Assistant Producer on ‘A Woman Walks Into a Bank’, producing Rapid Write Responses for ‘These Demons’ and ‘ A Woman Walks Into a Bank ’, and served as Lead Producer on their Spring Short Season 2024.
Humnah is the Lead Producer for Pink Milk Theatre, a theatre company exploring underrepresented stories from queer voices in the theatre industry, focusing on stories by global majority queer creatives. She was the Lead Producer on the critically acclaimed iterations of 'Foxes', ‘A Splash of Milk’ and 'Naughty' (UK Tour 2022).
She was previously on Stockroom’s Freelance Producer’s Fellowship for New Writing Programme, as well as being selected as an Early Career Producer by Tara Theatre for their Global Majority Producer Development Roundtable.
While most of her work is rooted in theatre, Humnah also has experience in Film. She is one of the Creative Directors and Founding Members of Production HAKS. Under the company name, she was Director for 'Notify' (nominated at London International Monthly Film Festival, 2021) and Producer on 'Mixed Signals' and 'Frightful Productions'. In 2021, she joined Media Trust’s ‘Creativity Works Futures’ programme, going on to work alongside Media Trust and Buzz Films for the 'London Community Foundation: London Impact Awards (2022)'.
Humnah was selected by Stage One for ‘Bridge The Gap’ (2023 - 24) and is thrilled to be supported by the Stage One Bursary Scheme for New Producers.
